XRP Ledger Foundation Details Fix for Infinite-Supply Bug, Bounty Size Questioned

The XRP Ledger Foundation has issued a detailed clarification on a critical security fix for a vulnerability that could have allowed new XRP to be created outside the ledger's fixed-supply rules. The bug was patched in version 3.4.1, released roughly two weeks ago. No additional XRP was actually created, and the total supply remains fixed at the original 100 billion. Onchain investigator ZachXBT publicly questioned whether the bounty paid to the researchers who reported the flaw was too low.
