US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record $11.5 Billion Trading Volume as BTC Swings Near $80,000

Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States recorded $11.5 billion in trading volume on Friday, a new record. The surge came as Bitcoin dropped toward $80,000 before recovering nearly $5,000. BlackRock's IBIT accounted for $8 billion of the volume but posted $122 million in net outflows, extending its negative streak to seven of the past eight trading days.
