Coinbase considers Coinone investment as talks focus on chairman's 53.44% control

Coinbase is considering an equity investment in Coinone as the South Korean exchange explores options that could include a partial sale tied to Chairman Cha Myung-hoon's 53.44% control. Coinone's book value was 75.2B won (about $52M) at the end of the third quarter, while it continues to invest in AI and new trading features.
