CME Adds 24/7 Crypto Derivatives Trading, Extending Access to XRP and ADA Contracts

CME Group will enable around-the-clock trading for a range of crypto futures and options starting this Friday, covering contracts tied to XRP and Cardano (ADA). The change is designed to better match 24/7 crypto markets, with only a brief weekend maintenance break of at least two hours. CME also cited recent scale metrics for its crypto suite, including $62.87 billion in XRP futures notional volume over the past year.
