Base App ends Creator Rewards; $450K paid, final payouts Feb. 18

Base App will discontinue its Creator Rewards program and remove its Farcaster-powered social feed to concentrate on tradable assets. According to the app's X account, roughly $450,000 was distributed to 17,000 creators over seven months, with final payouts set for Feb. 18. The app opened to the public in December.
