Onchain analysts have tied a cluster of wallets to a16z crypto, saying the addresses accumulated about 2.11M HYPE from April 14, 2026, for a total cost basis of $90.87M. The holdings rank as the sixth-largest HYPE position, with roughly 1.3M tokens (about $51M) staked for longer-term participation. The latest recorded buy on May 18 added 372,000 HYPE for $16.9M within three hours.
