A coding flaw in the DIP token, a core utility asset in the Etherisc ecosystem, allowed an attacker to siphon about $111,098 in USD Coin (USDC), SlowMist said. In a threat-intelligence alert, the blockchain security firm put the loss at 111,097.6 USDC. The issue stemmed from a transfer path that could execute twice during certain swaps, according to the firm.

A wallet tied to former Bitforex chief Garrett Jin sold its entire 184,102 HYPE position, valued at about $13.55 million, for a $2.83 million profit. The wallet then rotated into a long position in Uniswap’s UNI. Lookonchain highlighted the transactions and said Jin, who posts as “Garrett Bullish,” had fully exited HYPE before taking the UNI position.

A wallet linked to BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes bought another 1,400 ETH worth about $2.51 million. Separately, the ether whale “geministar.eth” accumulated 32,278 ETH, roughly $57 million, over a two-day period. The purchases were flagged by Lookonchain.

Kalshi said its newly launched perpetual futures have generated more than $5.5 billion in trading volume in two weeks. The company said it plans to extend the never-expiring contracts beyond crypto. Bloomberg data show the platform’s perp volume climbed from $1 billion in the first week to more than $5.5 billion by the end of week two.

Bitwise bought another 77,097 HYPE worth about $5.18 million through prime broker FalconX on June 15. The purchase extends the asset manager’s ongoing accumulation of Hyperliquid’s native token. Bitwise allocates 10% of management fees from its spot Hyperliquid ETF to buying and staking HYPE on its corporate balance sheet, according to Lookonchain.

Binance Research put the onchain leverage ratio at about 38%. The European Union’s transition period under its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework ends July 1, 2026, after which crypto firms without full authorization may be barred from serving EU customers. An estimated three-quarters of regional companies could be affected. The change marks a hard cutoff for firms that have not obtained a full crypto-asset service provider license.
