Santiment: Negative MVRV ratios signal undervaluation for Bitcoin, Ethereum and other major crypto assets

Santiment said on Jan. 26 that when a cryptocurrency's Market Value to Realized Value Ratio (MVRV) falls below zero, most regular traders hold losses and potential entry opportunities may emerge. The analytics firm noted that more negative MVRV returns indicate lower buying risk, with major tokens showing readings of ChainLink at -9.5%, Cardano at -7.9%, Ethereum at -7.6%, XRP at -5.7% and Bitcoin at -3.7%, all in what it described as an undervalued zone. MVRV is commonly used to gauge whether the average holder of a given coin is in profit or at a loss and whether the market valuation is relatively high or low.
