The address holds a 20x leveraged BTC short position at an average $89,300 with 44% unrealized gains; in the past hour it placed about 100 buy orders lowering the range to $80,000-$87,000, and plans to close the short and go long if price falls to $86,383 when the 11th buy order is hit. It previously set 100 sell orders at $90,200-$94,200 with 4 filled, and follows a pyramid-style hedged grid that layers long and short orders within preset ranges to capture range moves rather than one-sided bets. Trader "Paul Wei" applies a similar approach with 2x leverage, shares the short-trigger area, has a BTC long position down about 3.2% with the position near 9% of funds, keeps most funds as resting orders, has adjusted triggers to $84,600-$90,200, and has booked $3,100 since Nov. 16, according to the same source.
