Thailand's "Speed Bump" Rule Triggers Freeze of Over 10,000 Suspected Crypto Mule Accounts

Thailand's Digital Asset Operators Trade Association introduced a "Speed Bump" measure that has led local crypto exchanges to freeze more than 10,000 suspected mule accounts. The rule places a 24-hour hold on transfers of at least 50,000 baht and requires enhanced identity checks, increasing compliance demands while aiming to curb money laundering.
