Trust Wallet Confirms Security Issue in Browser Extension 2.68

Trust Wallet has confirmed a security incident affecting only its browser extension version 2.68 and has advised users to immediately disable that version and upgrade to version 2.69, according to Wu Blockchain. The confirmation followed earlier alerts from on-chain analyst ZachXBT, who reported multiple unauthorized fund outflows after a Chrome extension update released the previous day. Trust Wallet stated that its mobile application and other browser extension versions are not affected and said it is continuing to investigate the incident.
