Strategy acquired 17,994 BTC for approximately $1.28 billion at an average price of $70,946 per Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 738,731 BTC, or roughly 3.7% of circulating supply, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The purchase, funded by selling 6.3 million MSTR shares for $899.5 million and 3.8 million STRC shares for $377.1 million, marked the company's largest acquisition since January, when it bought 22,305 BTC for about $2.13 billion at an average of $95,284. Strategy has now completed eleven consecutive weekly BTC purchases and added 25,229 BTC since Feb. 9, with its latest 17,994 BTC buy roughly matching five weeks of newly mined supply, as about 450 BTC enter the market daily through mining. The company has accumulated its Bitcoin holdings for a total cost of about $56.04 billion at an overall average acquisition price of $75,862 per coin, while Bitcoin was trading near $69,207 with a 24-hour trading volume of $45.11 billion and a market capitalization of $1.38 trillion; separately, Bitmine Immersion Technologies disclosed it purchased 60,976 ETH, bringing its Ethereum holdings to 4,534,563 ETH valued at about $10.3 billion, including just over 3 million ETH staked.
