ME News reported that on April 19 (UTC+8), Ember Monitoring flagged heavy AAVE selling after attackers allegedly exploited Aave to mint rsETH and borrow large amounts of ETH. On-chain data show multiple whale wallets dumping AAVE, pushing the token down about 15% on the day. The Polymarket-linked address "smaugvision" sold 20,015 AAVE for roughly $2.06 million at $102.90. A wallet beginning with 0xFC5 sold 20,000 AAVE for about $2.05 million at $102.80. Address 0xA2E sold 19,665 AAVE for around $1.95 million at $99.20. (Source: Foresight News)
