Tether amasses 140 tons of gold as CEO outlines bullion strategy

Tether Holdings has accumulated around 140 tons of gold after buying over 70 tons last year, CEO Paolo Ardoino said. The firm adds more than a ton weekly and stores bullion in a Swiss bunker; its gold-backed XAUT rose 3.99% in the last 24 hours and logged weekly and monthly gains.
