Trump's Iran remarks pressure U.S. stock futures as oil jumps above $103

April 2 — U.S. equity index futures slipped after President Donald Trump spoke about Iran, according to Huo Xing Finance. S&P 500 futures were last down 0.5%. Oil prices surged, with WTI crude topping $103 a barrel, up 4.07% on the day. Brent rose $4 to $102.86 a barrel, a 4.06% gain. Trump said he would target Iran's energy facilities if no agreement is reached.
