KelpDAO attacker swaps most stolen ETH into BTC through THORChain

Odaily Planet Daily cited on-chain analyst Yujin as saying the KelpDAO attacker began laundering funds yesterday afternoon and has likely moved 34,500 ETH (about $80 million) so far. The bulk of the ETH was swapped cross-chain into BTC via THORChain, generating sizable "toll" fees for the protocol. Over the past 24 hours, THORChain trading volume jumped to $360 million, versus a prior daily average of around $20 million. Fee revenue on the platform also climbed to $420,000 in the same period, up from roughly $5,000 per day previously.
