Drift Protocol Hit by Hack: $285M in Assets Swapped Into 129,066 ETH

On-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN) reported that Drift Protocol, a Solana-based perpetuals DEX, was exploited in the early hours of April 2, with losses estimated at up to $285 million across multiple assets. The attacker liquidated the stolen tokens within hours and bridged the proceeds to Ethereum, ultimately consolidating the haul into 129,066 ETH (about $278 million).
