Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chair Selig has appointed Amir Zaidi as chief of staff, according to The Block. The outlet reported that Selig cited Zaidi’s prior work at the CFTC, including his role at the agency during the 2017 approval of CME Group’s bitcoin futures contracts.
