US Senate to mark up Digital Commodities bill as SEC–CFTC coordination event set for 29 January
US lawmakers will on 29 January hold a Senate Agriculture Committee markup on the Digital Commodities Intermediary Act, examining and voting on multiple first-degree amendments. On the same day, the SEC will host a rescheduled coordination event with the CFTC, while proposed changes to the bill range from digital asset ethics rules for senior officials to new consumer, systemic risk, and national security provisions.
