Tether Gold Adds 27 Metric Tons in Q4 2025 as XAU⃣ Leads $4 Billion Tokenized Gold Market

On Dec. 31, 2025, Tether’s latest Tether Gold (XAU⃣) attestation reported 520,089.350 fine troy ounces of Swiss-vaulted gold backing 520,089.300000 XAU⃣, confirming full 1:1 backing and a market value of US$2,246,458,120. The report shows XAU⃣ now represents about 60% of the more than $4 billion tokenized gold sector, after Tether Gold Investments added 27 metric tons of gold in Q4 2025, placing its exposure among the top 30 global sovereign and institutional holders.
