Ethereum Whale Transfers 135,283 ETH to Gemini, Poised for $384M Profit After 9-Year Hold

An Ethereum whale, identified by on-chain analyst Ai 姨 (@ai_9684xtpa) on January 27, has transferred 135,283.67 ETH to a Gemini deposit address. This significant move follows a nine-year holding period, with the whale initially acquiring 353,483.67 ETH between March and July 2017, then valued at $24.15 million. The 135,283.67 ETH were transferred in batches over the two days preceding January 27. If these assets are sold at approximately $2,908.2 per coin, Ai 姨 estimates a potential profit of $384 million, representing over a 4156% return from an initial cost basis of $68.32 per ETH.
