Stablecoin Market Cap Drops $2.24B in 10 Days as Funds Move to Gold and Silver

Over the past 10 days, the combined market value of leading stablecoins has fallen by $2.24 billion, which Santiment interprets as capital exiting crypto toward gold and silver. During the same period in 2025, Bitcoin slid from about $121,500 after an Oct. 10 liquidation to roughly $88,080, while gold climbed above $5,000 and silver more than doubled in value. Santiment suggests that shrinking stablecoin supply could limit the pace and strength of any broader crypto market rebound.
