On March 27, Morgan Stanley filed Amendment No. 3 to its S-1 for a spot bitcoin product with a proposed 0.14% fee, below Blackrock's IBIT at 0.25%. The trust is described as a passive vehicle holding bitcoin directly and tracking the Coindesk Bitcoin Benchmark 4PM NY Settlement Rate, with basket-based creation and redemption via bitcoin transfers.
