Meta Platforms Stock Gains as It Seals $2 Billion-Plus Acquisition of AI Startup Manus

The Singapore-based firm brings around 100 employees, a reported $125 million annual revenue run rate from its AI agent subscriptions, and will be integrated into Meta's consumer and business products while continuing to operate its service. Meta stated that all Chinese investors have been bought out and that Manus will end its operations in China following the transaction.
