Coinbase rolls out Agentic Wallets using x402 for AI on EVM, Solana, Base

Coinbase introduced Agentic Wallets to let autonomous AI agents hold funds, send payments, trade tokens, and earn onchain yield. A blog post published on Wednesday, February 11, said the tool adds built-in security and leverages the x402 protocol across EVM chains, Solana, and Coinbase’s Base Layer 2. The release includes a command-line interface and Smart Security Guardrails.
