WSJ's Timiraos Projects September Core PCE to Rise 0.22%

Wall Street Journal reporter Nick Timiraos projected on Nov. 26 that September core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) will rise approximately 0.22%, closely aligning with the month's core CPI figure. The projection follows the release of September CPI and Producer Price Index data. Should the actual reading fall below this estimate, the 12-month year-over-year inflation rate would decline to 2.8% from August's 2.9%, Timiraos noted.
