WisdomTree Launches WTGXX, First SEC-Exempt Tokenized Money Market Fund With 24/7 Trading

WisdomTree has launched its tokenized money market fund WTGXX, which received an SEC exemption and is the first registered tokenized fund in the U.S. to offer 24/7 trading and instant settlement under existing regulations, ChainCatcher reports. The product eliminates the traditional T+1 settlement delay and allows investors to gain real-time exposure to yield-generating assets using the USDC stablecoin, improving liquidity and trading efficiency. The feature set will initially be available to institutional participants via the WisdomTree Connect platform, with potential expansion to retail investors.
