A whale address (0x007d…) added about 220 BTC in short positions worth $19.74 million in the past hour on Jan. 22 and now holds 40× leveraged BTC shorts totaling 374 BTC with a scale around $34 million, HyperInsight data show. Take-profit orders are set within $71,100 to $72,100. Since Jan. 20, the address deposited to Hyperliquid and sold about 171 BTC spot worth roughly $15.4 million to clear spot holdings; this morning it first opened a short position near $88,000 with an initial size that once reached $13.8 million, BlockBeats reports citing HyperInsight.
