Visa expands stablecoin settlement pilot to nine blockchain networks; annualized run rate hits $7B

Visa has added Arc, @Base, Canton, @Polygon and @Tempo to its stablecoin settlement pilot, bringing the program to nine supported blockchain networks. The company said the pilot's annualized settlement run rate reached $7 billion, a 50% increase from the prior quarter, as clients across Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and CEMEA push for greater multichain flexibility.
