Visa, Bridge and Stripe to expand stablecoin settlement to over 100 countries

Visa, Bridge and Stripe launched a joint initiative to extend stablecoin payment and settlement access across their services, according to an announcement. Under Visa's stablecoin settlement pilot, Visa issuers and acquirers—including those offering Bridge-enabled cards—can settle with Visa using stablecoins on supported blockchain networks. Bridge-enabled stablecoin-linked payment cards are live in 18 countries and will roll out to over 100 markets across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East by year-end.
