Tether freezes more than $514 million USDT in the past 30 days; 4,163 addresses blacklisted in 2025

Tether has frozen more than $514 million in USDT over the past 30 days across 370 addresses, ChainCatcher reported, citing Cointelegraph. Roughly $506 million of the total was frozen on the Tron network, with about $8.73 million frozen on Ethereum. Separately, BlockSec's review of 2025 activity shows Tether has blacklisted 4,163 unique addresses across Ethereum and Tron, freezing a combined $1.26 billion in USDT.
