Strive adds 1,109 BTC, becomes seventh-largest public corporate Bitcoin holder
Strive ($ASST) said it purchased an additional 1,109 Bitcoin between May 19 and May 22 at an average price of $76,989 per BTC, investing about $85.4 million. The company's total Bitcoin position now stands at 16,500 BTC, valued at roughly $1.26 billion, placing it as the seventh-largest publicly traded corporate holder.
According to its treasury dashboard, Strive posted a 23.4% year-to-date BTC yield and an 11.0% quarter-to-date yield. Cash and cash equivalents increased to $93.3 million as of May 22.
Strive said it is considering a near-term refresh of its at-the-market (ATM) programs for both Class A common stock and SATA preferred shares to support additional purchases. The latest buying took place during a bitcoin pullback. Across 18 total acquisitions, the firm's average cost basis is $99,617 per BTC, and the most recent purchase lowered that average.
