STRC posts record $1.53B single-day trading volume

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Strategy's perpetual preferred stock, STRC, saw $1.53 billion in trading volume on Thursday, a new high and more than four times its 30-day average of about $331 million. BitcoinQuant data show the burst in activity supported the company's at-the-market (ATM) issuance program, helping it raise capital and purchase roughly 11,707 bitcoins. The volume jump was largely tied to ex-dividend trading. STRC currently offers an 11.5% annualized dividend yield, paid monthly in cash. (CoinDesk)
