May 21 — SpaceX, the Musk-led company, disclosed in an S-1 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ahead of a planned IPO that it holds 18,712 bitcoins, BlockBeats reported. The filing shows that as of December 31 last year, the position carried a cost basis of about $661 million, or roughly $35,000 per coin. The disclosure places SpaceX as the seventh-largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, behind only Strategy, 21 Capital, Metaplanet, MARA Holdings, Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company, and Bullish.
