SpaceX files for IPO at over $1.5 trillion valuation, discloses 18,700 BTC holdings
SpaceX has filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, setting the stage for an initial public offering next month at a valuation above $1.5 trillion. If priced at that level, the company would rank among the world's ten most valuable publicly listed firms. The filing also shows that as of March 31, SpaceX held 18,700 bitcoins with a fair value of about $1.29 billion, and highlighted its leading position in reusable rocket launches and its Starlink satellite internet business.
