Short-Term Bitcoin Holders Move Over 27,000 BTC to Exchanges in 24 Hours
Short-term Bitcoin holders transferred more than 27,000 BTC to exchanges in the past 24 hours to lock in profits during a modest BTC rebound, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said on March 6. The transfer volume ranks among the highest in recent months, with the cohort mainly consisting of investors who accumulated positions one week to one month ago at an average realized price near $68,000. Darkfost noted the profit-taking appears rational given negative short-term news flow and macroeconomic expectations, adding that the pattern signals notable selling pressure as STHs show reluctance to extend holding periods.
