SafeMoon CEO John Karony Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison for Investor Fraud

SafeMoon CEO John Karony has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for defrauding investors. Karony and others were accused of "rugpulling" the SafeMoon token by withdrawing funds from a liquidity pool they had described as "automagically locked." Karony reportedly spent over $3M of investor capital on properties and luxury vehicles, with total alleged theft potentially exceeding $10M.
