Ripple Tokenized Hundreds of Millions in RWAs on XRP Ledger, Network Value Reaches $2.18B

Robinhood Markets disclosed in a January 2025 memo filed with the U.S. SEC on Feb. 11 that Ripple has tokenized hundreds of millions of dollars in real-world assets on the XRP Ledger, citing partnerships with Ctrl Alt, Ondo Finance and Securitize, WrathofKahneman reports. The seven-page document outlines tokenization's advantages and regulatory challenges, referencing McKinsey & Company research projecting tokenized funds could reach $2 trillion by 2030, excluding cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. RWA.xyz data show the XRP Ledger currently hosts $2.18 billion in tokenized RWAs including stablecoins, with commodities at $1.1 billion, private credit at $322.7 million, U.S. Treasury debt at $180.6 million and stablecoins at $424 million including $348 million in RLUSD. XRPL RWA value grew 159% over the past 30 days, compared with 46% on Solana and 15.49% on Ethereum, the data show.
