Robinhood Invests in Talos at $1.5B Valuation

Robinhood invested in Talos as part of the institutional crypto trading infrastructure provider's Series B extension on Jan. 29, valuing the company at about $1.5 billion, BlockBeats reports. The extension raised an additional $45 million from investors including Sony Innovation Fund, IMC, QCP and Karatage, with existing backers such as a16z crypto, BNY and Fidelity also participating. Talos offers end-to-end crypto trading infrastructure to hundreds of institutional clients worldwide, with combined client assets under management of around $21 trillion.
