Ripple Custody Adds Ethereum and Solana Staking via Figment Partnership

Ripple has launched Ethereum and Solana staking within its institutional custody product, using Figment's infrastructure to enable clients to earn yield on proof-of-stake networks without operating validators, CryptoSlate reports. Figment said Ripple selected it for its noncustodial architecture, track record with over 1,000 institutional clients, and full Node Operator Risk Standard certification. The integration highlights that Ethereum and Solana offer protocol rewards while XRP lacks native staking, even as XRP-linked investment products drew $63.1 million in inflows last week compared to $8.2 million for Solana and $5.3 million for Ethereum products, CoinShares data show.
