Missile Strike Causes Extensive Damage at Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG Facility

Qatar's authorities reported that a missile strike caused "extensive damage" to one of the world's largest LNG plants at Ras Laffan Industrial City, Bloomberg reports. Officials said a single missile hit the facility after four other missiles targeting the site were intercepted. The plant had previously supplied around 20% of global LNG output, and production at the facility had already been suspended earlier this month.
