On-chain Analyst Specter: Kraken, Coinbase User May Have Lost $6.7M in Suspected Physical Attack

On-chain analyst Specter reported that a user of Kraken and Coinbase may have suffered losses totaling $6.7 million, likely stemming from a physical attack. The victim's Kraken account recorded withdrawals of 1,554 ETH (about $3.3 million) and 10.5 BTC. Separately, 34.1 cbBTC (about $2.6 million) was withdrawn from Coinbase. Specter said the stolen assets have since been laundered, with $5.3 million deposited into Tornado Cash.
