Whale Traders Reshuffle BTC and LIT Leverage Positions with Mixed Long-Short Adjustments
Between 10:00 and 20:00 on December 31, whale traders adjusted several highly leveraged positions across major tokens, Hyperinsight data show. On the long side, trader Huang Licheng (known as "麻吉大哥") reduced his 25x leveraged ETH long to 8,500 ETH with an unrealized profit of $119,000, while the whale at address 0x10a3c closed long positions in ETH, SOL, UNI and PUMP and is now long BTC and FARTCOIN with an unrealized loss of $153,000. On the short side, the whale at address 0x5d2f4 trimmed its LIT short, lowering the average entry to $2.8, and continues to hold a 20x leveraged BTC short of 499.9 BTC worth about $44.2 million, while another whale expanded its LIT short to $6.26 million, making it the largest LIT short on-chain. A third whale opened a 20x leveraged $70.72 million BTC short and a $16.71 million ETH long hedge, with a combined unrealized loss of $240,000.
