Naver Financial to finalize Dunamu acquisition at board meeting next week

Naver Financial, the fintech unit of South Korean portal Naver, will confirm its acquisition plan for Dunamu at a board meeting scheduled for next week, Korea Times reported on Nov. 19 citing sources. Dunamu, which operates Upbit, the country's largest cryptocurrency exchange, will hold its own board meeting on Nov. 26 to approve the transaction. The deal is structured as a full stock swap that would make Dunamu a wholly owned subsidiary of Naver Financial.
