Mastercard Secures New York BitLicense; DDC Enterprise Increases Bitcoin Treasury to 2,714 BTC
According to reports from Huo Xing Finance and BBX data on Dec. 11, Mastercard Transaction Services (U.S.) LLC has officially secured a BitLicense from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). This regulatory milestone enables the Mastercard subsidiary to facilitate compliant digital asset operations, focusing on stablecoin-based on-chain payments and tokenized deposit infrastructure. Simultaneously, DDC Enterprise Limited (NYSE: $DDC) announced the acquisition of an additional 131 bitcoins, bringing its total treasury holdings to 2,714 BTC. The company reported an average acquisition price of $79,135 per coin. DDC Enterprise further highlighted that its strategic capital allocations have resulted in a year-to-date Bitcoin yield of 43.5%, underscoring the growing trend of corporate entities integrating digital assets into their balance sheets for enhanced financial performance.
