Pump.fun Restarts SOL Selling After 9-Month Pause, Sends 174,408 SOL to Kraken

On-chain analytics firm Lookonchain (@lookonchain) reported that Pump.fun has resumed selling SOL after a nine-month break, depositing 174,408 SOL (about $14.76 million) to Kraken. The firm suspects that 117,877 SOL was sold through a newly created wallet (35qaEz) at an average price of $84.52, swapped for roughly $9.96 million in USDC, and then sent back to the exchange. Earlier, from May 2024 to August 2025, Pump.fun sold a total of 4.19 million SOL for about $757 million, at an average price of $181.
