Kraken Raises $200M from Citadel Securities at $20B Valuation

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken received a $200 million strategic investment from market maker Citadel Securities on Nov. 19, valuing the Wyoming-based platform at $20 billion, BlockBeats reports. Citadel Securities, founded and led by Ken Griffin, is among the world's largest market makers with nearly 25 years in traditional financial markets. The funding will support Kraken's global expansion and strengthen integration with traditional finance systems.
