Crypto liquidations hit $236 million in 4 hours on Jan. 21, long positions account for majority

Crypto markets saw $236 million in liquidations over 4 hours on Jan. 21, Coinglass data show. Long positions accounted for $209 million while shorts totaled $26.86 million. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's ETH-USD pair at $6.81 million. Over the past 24 hours, 142,068 traders were liquidated globally for a total of $583 million.
