Indonesia's OJK Publishes List of 29 Licensed Crypto Trading Platforms and 4 Infrastructure Providers

Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) published a list of 29 licensed crypto trading platforms and four approved market infrastructure providers on December 22, according to Techinasia, following the regulatory transition from Bappebti under Law No. 4 of 2023. Approved platforms include Indodax, Tokocrypto, Pintu, Luno, Upbit, and Pluang, covering exchange, clearing, and custody services. OJK urged the public to verify licensing and warned that unlicensed operations face penalties of up to 10 years in prison and fines of up to 1 trillion rupiah.
