Hyperliquid Whale "0xd83" Suffers Largest Single Liquidation at $31.64 Million in 24 Hours

On Jan. 29, BTC briefly fell below $88,000, about 2.8% off the day's high, triggering two BTC long liquidations for Hyperliquid address 0xd83, nicknamed "空军总司令", including a single event of $31.64 million that ranked as the largest in the past 24 hours, Coinbob and Coinglass data show. The address was liquidated for 89.7 BTC and 359 BTC longs over two hours, totaling $39.4 million; its 40x leveraged BTC long positions were fully wiped, leaving about $350,000 in the account. Earlier on Jan. 29, the same address was liquidated for 252 BTC longs ($22.37 million), which set the largest single liquidation at that time before the latest round surpassed it. After the wipeout, the address opened a 25x leveraged ETH short position using the remaining $350,000, with a position size of $8.9 million and liquidation price at $3,003; it had previously held the largest short across BTC, ETH and other tokens with total positions near $500 million, and recent liquidations include $199 million on Jan. 22, $120 million on Jan. 26, $83 million on Jan. 28, with today's BTC longs liquidated by about $61 million.
